This page explains how Flour & Vanilla, operating Flourandvanilla, may share personal information for advertising, and how you can opt out. It applies to all visitors and customers in the United States, including California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) and residents of other states with similar laws.

What "sale" and "sharing" mean
Under the CCPA/CPRA, a sale is disclosing personal information to a third party for money or other valuable consideration. Sharing is disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, meaning ads shown to you based on your activity across different websites, whether or not money is exchanged.

We do not share your name, email address, postal address or payment information for advertising purposes.
Service providers
We also use service providers that process personal information only on our behalf to run the store: PayPal (payments), DigitalOcean Spaces (file and image storage), OpenAI (site product search), Telegram (staff order notifications), our email (SMTP) provider and shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL). Disclosures to these providers are not a sale or sharing.
How to opt out

- Include the email address you use with us, if any, so we can apply your choice to any related records.
You do not need an account, and we do not require identity verification to process an opt-out. We will only decline a request if we have a good-faith, documented reason to believe it is fraudulent, and if so we will tell you why.
How long it takes
We act on your opt-out request as soon as possible and no later than 15 business days after we receive it. We also notify the parties we shared your information with after you made your request that you have opted out, so they stop using it.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request for you. We may ask the agent to provide a permission signed by you.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Our site does not currently process the Global Privacy Control browser signal. To opt out, please email us or use the form on this page.
What happens after you opt out
We stop sharing your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may still see general, non-personalized ads. We will not ask you to opt back in for at least 12 months, unless you choose to do so yourself.
Consumers under 16
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 without prior opt-in consent. Consumers aged 13 to 15 may give that consent themselves; consumers under 13 require consent from a parent or guardian. Our site is not directed to children.
Sensitive personal information
We do not collect or use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, so a "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" link is not required. Payment information is handled by PayPal.
Your other privacy rights
You may also ask to know, access, delete or correct your personal information. We respond to these requests within 45 days, and may extend this by another 45 days when needed, with notice to you. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Appeals
If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Appeal". We will respond within 60 days. If you disagree with our decision, you may contact the Attorney General of your state.
Non-discrimination
We will not deny you goods, charge you a different price or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of your privacy rights.
